College Scholarship For Students From Underprivileged Backgrounds
Dominguez Recovery Centers is offering a $3,333 scholarship for college-bound high school students who come from underprivileged backgrounds.
This scholarship opportunity is inspired by the real-life success story of our founder, Dr. Barbara Dominguez. She overcame many obstacles, including financial difficulties, to become a successful chiropractor, as well as, understands the struggle that underprivileged students face.
As a respected spokesperson for Atlanta’s Hispanic community, Dr. Barbara Dominguez is committed to removing economic barriers and encouraging our youth to aim for the highest personal and professional goals.
About the Dominguez Recovery Centers College Scholarship
The Dominguez Recovery Centers College Scholarship is open to area high school students who are in their junior or senior year, or who will graduate between December 2021 and June 2022.
Essay Required
Please write a 500 to 1,000 word original essay on the following topic: “Why do you want to go to college, and how do you think it will help advance your goals in life?”
Each essay may be sent in either PDF or Word Document form and must include the following information:
- Full name, address, phone number,
and email address.
- Current grade and GPA.
